After four long and fun-filled years, my Professional Writing course has come to an end and with it, also came success.
Last year my grades were strong enough to earn me my Diploma of Arts (Professional Writing) which, I collected in March of this year. This year my grades were strong enough yet again to get my Advanced Diploma in the same above named course.
I can now sit back and concentrate on writing for myself, writing the things I haven't written for quite while... my twisted tales of horror and the like.
I have successfully collated an anthology of my poetry which will be printed off this weekend ready to be sent to the publisher, Ginninderra Press who has, coincidentally, received samples and has made an offer to publish. This will be my second publication since and including 2012 when, I was published in the 2012 Spring Poetry Festival magazine hosted by the South Australian English Teachers Association. I have also set my sights on the Celapene magazine, 'Short and Twisted' which most of you know, I am more than capable of coming up with something to compliment the title.
My only set back is cutting myself back to the 2,000 words maximum limit but, I will do it in the aim of being published once again.
In closing, I'd like to wish all of you in my current circles a very safe, happy and fun-filled Christmas and a very prosperous New Year.
